The UK is undergoing major changes in the way it sources its energy. National Grid has made a significant contribution to new and diverse sources for gas through a £1 billion investment in the Isle of Grain Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Kent.

Following a highly successful relationship with the National Grid over the past years on the installation of several critical Electrical and Control & Instrumentation systems, Bouygues Energies & Services celebrates the recent addition of the Mechanical Services Framework, at the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Facilities.

Bouygues Energies & Services will be responsible for supplying specialist critical maintenance and engineering services for on shore assets and off shore jetty systems for the duration of the contract term.

Zeb Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director, Contracting, commented:

"We are delighted at this recent success following the successful commencement and delivery of the existing frameworks, further establishing Bouygues Energies & Services capabilities and track record of providing business critical services on high risk sites”.
